  1. How much are EduMatics® services?

EduMatics® services pricing is as follows for: K-12 $175.00 (3:1); Special Needs $225.00 (1:1); Continuing Education (College Student) /Adults $250.00 (1:1); SAT/ACT $300.00; Elder Academics $125.00 for each month. There is a $4.95 processing fee for online credit card payments.

 

  1. Is there a registration fee?

Yes, there is an annual registration fee of $100 (*25% off if we are Partners In Education with member’s school). This yearly fee pays for weekend workshops (all members are able to attend at no additional cost), supplies, and other technology subscriptions for each student. Examples of workshops offered are: FSA (Florida Standards Assessments), Reading, Math, Writing Workshops, Keyboarding, etc.

 

  1. How many sessions does the monthly fee pay for?

This is dependent on the specific program in which the student is enrolled, please contact us for information regarding individual program details.

 

  1. How much blended learning integration are students given with technology?

The student may not always work on a computer each session, however, generally each student works with a computer for a maximum of 15 minutes per session. 

 

  1. Does EduMatics® provide discounts for multiple students in the same household?

EduMatics® gives a 25% discount for each additional student that’s in the same household after the first member signs up.

 

  1. Are there any other discounts offered by EduMatics®?

Yes, EduMatics® gives $25 referral fee per person you refer that secure services. The referral fee is given as a discount for the next month’s service.

 

  1. How much is it to be tutored in more than one subject?

EduMatics® offers a 25% off each additional subject.

 

  1. What if a student is unable to attend a scheduled appointment?

A make-up session is offered if we are provided with notice up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. We can, however, tutor the student interactively online if preferred.

 

  1. What is the EOC?

EOC stands for End of Course Assessment

 

  1. How is the FSA (Florida Standards Assessment) different from the FCAT?

The FSA is concept based testing, and it is believed to be more intense and more challenging than the FCAT was. This test focuses on how students work through each problem scenario and achieve the derived answers. There are also computer based testing portions, wherein the students are assessed with the use of computer software.

 

  1. What are your hours of operations?

We are open from 9am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 9am until 2pm; however, some programs are offered at specific times and those may vary from our standard hours of operation. Please contact us for individual program schedules.

 

  1. Is there a contract we must sign?

We ask for a 90 day commitment. A 30 day notice must be given before curtailing services.

 

  1. How will we know our student is improving?

We believe in data! We will provide ongoing information and progress notes to chart your student’s growth based on data we collect throughout the coaching process. We communicate with the student’s teacher and parents regularly as well, in order to be both proactive and reactive in regard to the academic excellence progress of each individual student.

 

  1. What type of professional and personal development courses do you have available?

Certification, Co-Parenting Courses, Business Seminars and Training, Professional Development Training, etc. We will have a more complete list posted in our website soon for your convenience.

 

  1. Do you provide tutoring services on school campus’?

We only provide tutoring on school campuses when we are directly contracted by that school, however, we service all students from all schools at our sites.

 

  1. What are all the workshops offered at EduMatics®?

We announce our workshops in our monthly newsletter. We provide educational, personal and professional workshops. The workshops vary from month to month. We provide career path assessments, professional and personal development, life coaching, career information, etc.
